Terry Bongiovanni, CLU, ChFC - Partner
Terry founded the agency in 1987 after working for several years as a team leader at John Hancock. He holds certifications as a Charted Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Counselor. He also holds insurance licenses in the several states for both Health and Life insurance and Property and Casualty Insurance. He also has his series 6 securities license. Terry has amassed vast experience and expertise in the areas of financial planning, Medicare, and life insurance.
Eileen Bongiovanni - Office Manager, Partner
Eileen joined her husband Terry in the business in 1997 after instructing gymnastics for the previous 15 years. Since joining the agency Eileen has become the community service liaison for the company. Through her work with the Midstate Chamber of Commerce, the Meriden Kiwanis Club, and Girls, Inc, Eileen has lead Bongiovanni Insurance & Financial to the forefront of community service in the Meriden area. In 2016 she was recognized by Girls, Inc with the very prestigious Stong, Smart, and Bold award.
Ty Bongiovanni, IAR, CTP- Partner
Ty joined Terry and Eileen after graduating from Eastern Connecticut State University in 2006. He holds a Life and Health Insurance license in several states along with a Series 7 securities license and a Series 65 license. He has also been certified as an Investment Advisor Representative and a Chartered Tax Professional. Ty has gained invaluable experience in the areas of large-employer benefits, Medicare, and financial planning.
Trey Bongiovanni - Benefits Specialist, Partner
Trey joined the agency in early 2008 after graduating from Eastern Connecticut State University. He holds a Life and Health Insurance license in several state and has become an expert in health insurance employee benefits, individual health insurance and the Affordable Care Act. He is fully licensed and approved to offer health insurance through Connecticut’s official online marketplace, AccessHealthCT.
Liz Rosado- Administrative Assistant
Liz joined Bongiovanni Insurance & Financial in August of 2015 as an administrative assistant across all avenues of the business. She has become an invaluable member of the team and is responsible for a vast array of tasks. She is also fluent in Spanish and has allowed the agency to service many more people because of it.
Bill Carabetta- Sales Associate, Medicare
Bill joined the agency in June of 2016 after retiring from Habasit America, Inc where he worked in the capacity of Controller for the past 28 years. During that time, Bill also had the added duties of Human Resource Manager for 10 years. Part of Bill's responsibilities included hiring brokers for workers comp, property and health insurance. With Bill being on the customer side, he brings added insight to the BI&F team. Bill graduated from Post University with a degree in Accounting and recently obtained his CT Life and Health License.
